Context

Healthcare systems must reconcile two major challenges: addressing the rise in needs (aging populations, chronic diseases) and integrating technological transformations (digital health, AI, telemedicine).

The stakes go beyond simply adopting tools: it’s about rethinking organizations, skills, and collaboration to deliver more integrated, person-centered care. Digital health and AI offer opportunities (diagnosis, personalization), but also raise ethical and organizational questions (data, bias, governance).

Interprofessional collaboration and new roles (mediation, coordination, advanced practice nurses) are redefining professional roles and career paths, while patient empowerment and health literacy are becoming essential to reduce inequalities and personalize care pathways.

Aim

Based on scientific challenges and professional issues, the P2S seminar aims to create a space for dialogue between research, institutions, healthcare facilities, associations, and field actors. Its goal is to identify operational avenues and priority research questions regarding the professions, skills, and collaborations needed for a "healthcare system of tomorrow."

Practical information Registration

Registration is possible on this site, via the Registration tab, as well as via email contact with Ms. Catherine Billard, coordinator of the P2S laboratory: contact.p2s@univ-lyon1.fr.
